The 2022 Mélange Rouge is a densely structured blend exhibiting aromas of ripe blue and purple fruits, including blackberry, plum, and black cherry, underscored by secondary notes of cedar, clove, and subtle graphite. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and fruit-driven, with firm, well-integrated tannins providing structural tension. Mid-palate weight is substantial yet balanced by a refined acidity, contributing to a poised and harmonious mouthfeel.

Winemaker Notes
There is a lot of magic in winemaking, and yes, science too, but for me, the real magic happens in blending. The opportunity to bring together distinct varieties, distinct vineyards, distinct climates, each with its own personality. The ability to create a wine that’s greater than the sum of its parts. It’s like solving a beautiful puzzle, where every piece matters. Finding that perfect harmony is always a challenge, but it’s also my favorite part of the process. The result for the 2022 Melange Rouge is a wine that is bold yet balanced, expressive yet refined. I’m proud to share this wine with you, and I hope you enjoy drinking it as much as I loved crafting it.
