Winemaker Notes

Each and every vintage of the Mélange Blanc reminds me why I fell in love with Rhône white wines many years ago.  Now, in our fifth iteration of this wine, I have been enjoying revisiting our previous vintages and finding that good things do come for those who wait.  While the Mélange Blanc is made to be enjoyed now, for myself, the real intrigue of Rhône white wines comes with a bit of age. Our 2022 vintage certainly has the makings to follow its predecessors into this territory.  The fresh, rich fruit layered with tertiary notes of almond paste, honey and sweet brioche will continue to evolve, adding to the depth and complexity of an already stunning wine.
